Carlton Lodge Bursary Fund.

We're passionate about giving everyone the opportunity to realise their greatest potential and believe that adventurous outdoor activity gives children and young people the chance to challenge themselves and discover new skills and abilities.
The fund was established to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people who face barriers to this experience.
It provides financial support to allow everyone, regardless of their status or background, to take part in the activities at Carlton Lodge.
The fund relies on donations and the kind generosity of people.
We would like to thank Dave and his family for donating a collection to Carlton Lodge Bursary fund.
A total of £1432.00 was raised and the funds are being used to help young people have outdoor experiences they would not normally have due to different circumstances.
These are the words of his daughter Jane.
"Dad had a great love of the outdoors and he channelled his enthusiasm not only with his own family, but also with children and young people in scouts, youth clubs, Duke of Edinburgh, Bewerley Park and Breckenbrough School.
He passionately believed that everyone should have access to outdoor education and the amazing benefits you get from it. During his final days, Dad spoke of supporting a charity that benefits young people and engages them into the outdoors, in particular for children and vulnerable people who are less fortunate. After Dad passed away, we discovered Carlton Lodge Bursary fund!
Everything that it stands for aligns with Dad’s wishes! We couldn’t have been happier to donate the very generous donations that Dad’s friends and family made at his funeral. He would be delighted to know that in his memory, so many people have been able to access the extraordinary advantages that the great outdoors offers.
Our Dad was our hero and he continues to be just that through his memory"
